苹果手机女孩风靡西方论坛

事情的起因是一位英国人买了一个苹果手机iPhone。当他拿到手机时，竟然发现手机内有一个陌生东方女孩的照片，看上去好像是苹果手机生产线上的一位女工。照片上她穿着粉红条纹的工作服，坐在流水线上，比着V手势笑容灿烂。英国人很好奇为什么新手机有这样几张照片，于是他把照片上传到了苹果用户的论坛www.macrumors.com，询问其他苹果用户是否也碰到同样的事情。很快，这个消息引起了论坛用户的热烈反响。所有人都称赞女孩很甜美可爱。消息传回中国，苹果的合作方富士康公司确认这位女孩是生产线上的一位女工，这张照片是在产品检验过程中照的，但后来不小心忘记删除。富士康公司负责人声称不会因这个意外解雇这位员工。苹果论坛用户都认为这是一个美丽的错误

1.这女孩很可爱

She won my heart for 2 reasons: Cute Chinese girl, and the fact that she makes iPhones. That's just hot.

Thats brilliant! I think it would be great for every Chinese worker who makes your iPhones to take a snap of herself or her factory friends. Build bridges, make connections, a hello from a person you would never otherwise meet. Globalisation in practise.

I think it's great publicity for Foxconn & Apple, shows happy young people having fun on the production line. I bet some marketing guy somewhere is kicking himself for not thinking of this sooner (or, perhaps patting himself on the back for doing it!)

Suddenly, the bitter advertising battle between Apple and Microsoft has made a dramatic turn.
Who would have thought that Microsoft, after paying Jerry Seinfeld $10 million to promote its products, was beaten black-and-blue by a humble factory worker from Shenzen, China. And it didn't even cost Steve Jobs' a single dollar to stir a global phenomenon for the Iphone of this magnitude. Just yesterday, I even saw a retail store at the mall with a large Iphone Girl glossy blow-up picture on its front door advertising the gadget and other electronic stuffs.

 I want to return mine, it's defective without a cute Chinese girl greeting me when I first get the phone. Apple needs to tell them to leave the photos on the phone! How cool would that be?

Some one contact a friend who works at apple and get this Chinese girl in the next iPhone Commercial! This is "Commercial Gold", promote world relations.

i'll take it a step further, not only snap pictures but if the want include their email addresses. start an email friendship movement between the usa, and other countries with china.
the iphone can be hailed as the bringer of world peace!!! steve jobs can be named world president...lol though that's a joke he'd probably do better then the ones in power now!!

It would be cool to see Apple hire her for some promotional stuff. I doubt they like to promote the "made in China" aspect though.

why would that girl be fired? the guy who posted the photos to the world should be fired. （为什么这个女孩要被解雇？被解雇的应该是那个给她拍照的人！）

 I also think it's completely reasonable that the girl in the picture wasn't fired. It was an honest mistake.

Why WOULDN'T the girl be fired?? I don't believe "Take pictures of yourself flashing peace signs and leave on the iPhone for a potential customer to see." is in her company handbook. With that said, would I fire her? Hell no, as this seems pretty harmless. If I was her manager, COULD I fire her? Most likely.

I am heading to China !!!
At least we all know fact that all Iphones has been tested " No Doubt". That cutie chinese girl will be my future wife. I am just about get on the plane heading to China. I will ask her to marry me..hahahaha..no jokes!! I got time and money to do this
if she doesn't like me then,, oh well, at least I can bring back to you guys a true story if she is still working in factory or not...fair deals huh
so wish me luck ... got to go ... my flight depart in an hour to China.

7.少数人认为这位英国人不应该把照片贴出来，因为这涉及到女孩的隐私

things like that should be left private and dealt with via Apple and Foxconn. NOT posted for the world to see... if that girl really did get fired, it would be entirely due to the idiot who posted her photo on the world wide web.

（像这样的事情应该和苹果以及富士康公司私下解决。而不是发到论坛上让全世界看到...如果这个女孩真的被解雇了，那完全要这个把她的照片放到互联网的白痴造成的）

Guys, just drop it already. Try to put yourself in her shoes for a moment. Would you want to have a photo of yourself at work passed around the world if you were her? Probably not.
All this obsession people have for celebrity sickens me. We are all human beings with a right to privacy regardless of our job/vocation.

I think it's completely reasonable for the guy to post the photo -- it speaks to apple's QA process.（我认为这个消费者发表照片是完全合理的，因为这显示了苹果公司的质量控制方面的流程。）

9.关于女孩的手势含义，大家有不同解读，有的认为代表和平，有的认为代表胜利，有的认为这只是亚洲人喜欢的一种拍照动作罢了，并没有特殊含义。

It's kind of funny that everyone has overlooked the one single message clearly being sent to us by "Iphone Girl" and that is clearly visible in her pictures. "Iphone Girl" has two fingers sticking up making the sign of "PEACE".
This picture brings me back to my childhood days when my dad used to tell us to make the peace sign when he would take our pictures. I think it's pretty cool that the message of peace is being sent out by Iphone Girl.

During World War II and for many years before and after this was the sign for "victory."

So many people are saying "peace sign" like she's making some big political statement.It's not the peace sign, it's the "I'm an east Asian and someone is pointing a camera at me" sign. I don't know exactly why everyone around here does it, but they do. I've asked countless times and nobody can explain it.I have photos of complete strangers taken on crowded streets with people sticking their fingers up like that, just because I happened to catch someone's eye while I was setting up the shot.

10.有人认为这件事的后果和照片上的人相貌如何关系重大。幸好这是位人见人爱的女孩。如果是别的样子，大家的反应可能完全两样

She's cute. I think apperance is very important in this case. Imagine what'd happen if she was instead a pervert-looking middle-aged Chinese guy. People would be complaining to Apple and that guy would be hanged already with his body chopped up and stuffed into a Chinese dumpling.
（女孩很可爱。我想相貌因素是个关键。想象一下，如果手机上的是一个长得不怎么样的中国中年男子，会发生什么事情？消费者肯定会向苹果公司投诉，照片上的那个家伙很有可能被判绞刑，他的肉被包进了中国饺子里）PS:哈，外国人还真是幽默，想象力丰富

11.认为这件事没什么，手机的存储器没有被删除干净从技术的角度是完全有可能发生的

These phones have to be tested before they're finished. That means that at least one picture has to be taken. The odds of a one-in-a-million bad memory wipe are not unlikely. And I don't think there's a 'code' that says what image you can and cannot test the camera lens with.
（这些手机在出厂前必须被测试，这意味着必须要照至少一张照片。在一百万个存储器里有一个出问题，存储空间没有被删除干净并不是不可能的。而且我不认为公司规定了什么样的照片是你可以照或者不可以照的）

I heard these pictures caused a big stir in Apple because it represents a huge gap in QC procedures at the plant (not clearing the memory). All phones cameras are tested in this way and a few getting out with the pictures still on them represents a potential huge problem.

incredible...they found her...glad she wasn't fired...but can we trust the source...she might have been sent to a re-education camp for all we know!!!
