最近微软为了反盗版而别出心裁地采用了黑屏法，凡是XP盗版用户都会体验到每隔一小时的背景黑屏，在盗版Office上更有永久视觉标记。对于微软这一做法，中国从政府到民间都对微软的垄断表示不满，有博客抱怨说“微软无权控制我的电脑硬件。”对这一事件，外国人的看法和中国人完全不同。他们大都认为微软做得好，中国人应该遵守版权法。

2) You now control your hardware.

A better analogy would be.
Hey I stole your car the other day, and today I find the engine won't start cause you disabled it via some remote control device and now I am pissed off at you.

For the user complaining about Microsoft controlling his hardware...I thought that was the whole idea of an operating system. Just saying.....

Haha. I'm pretty sure those users were fully aware their copy wasn't authentic.
Targeting producers and sellers is useless when there is such a demand for fakes.

Nobody is stopping those chinese "customers" from using linux. If they really are that concerned about someone "hacking" and "controlling" their computers, then they should probably be using linux or bsd anyway.
